Dear Travel Agents and Advisors, I strongly believe that the ones who succeed in the travel business are the creative ones. (Actually, that’s true in any kind of business, but our niche is travel, isn’t it?) Say you approach a prospective client and offer a trip to a nice resort in the US and find […]
The converted Cessna E-Caravan may not look as sexy as new-generation electric aircraft, but it will be a lot more practical for flight.
After last December’s record-setting electric seaplane demonstration with Harbour Air, magniX has recently set a more impressive record in a larger aircraft. The Harbour Air demonstration showed that a seaplane could work on an electric engine, but the converted Cessna Grand Caravan 208B now holds the title for the world’s largest commercial electric aircraft.
Dear Travel Agents/Advisors, A few weeks ago, we talked about river and ocean cruises. Now, I want to focus on cruises vs. resorts, as travelers are getting more and more antsy to get going on their well-deserved vacations. As we can see, other countries like Europe and the Caribbean will be open for the tourism […]
There’s good reason Italy is loved around the world. The history, the natural beauty, the people, THE FOOD!
Many years ago I went to school in Florence, Italy studying International Business. I liked the sound of ‘International Business’ and thought it would mean I would be traveling around the world and ending each workday with my toes in the sand and a drink in my hand. But I quickly realized that business was not my thing – so I switched to film school instead- unsure how that would work out for me. I’ve since returned to Italy many times as a paid camera guy and I have to admit, it feels like I made the right decision.
Dear Travel Agents/Advisors,
Let me first disclose that I am a cruise lover and totally believe that the cruise industry will be stronger than before, and ready to accommodate all the requirements of the CDC and other health organizations once their ships are back out and about.
Unfortunately, science doesn’t yet understand all the details of how Covid-19 will act in the summer (northern hemisphere) or winter (southern hemisphere). No one knows how many ports will be open, and which countries will be accepting cruise lines.
Mexico City has many great attractions. As a tourist, it is a fun place to explore because you never know what to expect. It’s difficult to stand out against the other amazing attractions in a city of 25 million people. This was one of those museums that jumped off the page. Located inside an old fire hall, the Museo de Arte Popular (Popular Art Museum) was one of our favourite attractions in Mexico City. With many different modern and transitional displays, the museum is able to capture some of the incredible creativity that makes Mexican culture and art so incredible.
Although currently many of you are getting a ton of quality time with your kids, soon enough things will ease back into the old schedules of work, school, sports, dance, time with friends and so much more. At first it will feel like a relief, but we anticipate that eventually you’ll miss your kids. That’s why we think you should make sure to take the time to plan to travel with them. Whether it’s a camping trip, a road trip or a big adventure on a plane it’s important to have time with your children to create new memories and strengthen the bond you have with them.
We asked our team to share some of the reasons they think it’s important to travel with their children or why they love travelling with them. Here’s what they had to say.
Planning ahead when you travel reduces tension. This is particularly important for a diabetic. These 5 diabetes travel pointers are simple to execute and crucial to your diabetic management. They are especially important if you are traveling abroad. Remember when you travel east your day ends up being shorter; if you take a trip west your day ends up being longer.

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.” – Anthony Bourdain
Hi all. Today’s ‘From Around the Web’ is from Josh Cahill, another flight vlogger as he takes a basically empty flight from Bali to Jakarta on Garuda. It’s a weird an eerie scene indeed. So many of these flights are happening right now too. How the aviation industry can keep afloat, I really don’t know. We are going to lose a lot of airlines.
